Palakkad, Oct 6(UNI) Kerala earned three valuable points by virtue of their first innings lead, as the Group 'A' Ranji Trophy Plate league clash against Goa ended in a draw at the Fort Maidan here today.
Visitors Goa had to be satisfied with just one point.
Both the skippers agreed for a draw when the Goan team scored 69 runs losing their three wickets on the final day.
Earlier, the hostess had finished their first innings at 486, thanks to the brilliant knock off 155 by Sreekumar Nair and 138 runs by Rohan Prem, against Goans 460.
This was the highest score ever scored by the hostess team and the existing highest score was 403 scored against Andhra in 1986.
