Chhindwara, MP, Nov 6 (UNI) Expressing 'full sympathy' to those who were denied tickets in Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, Union Minister Kamalnath today admitted that dissidence is simmering in some pockets in Congress.
''Though there are many aspirants who deserve the nomination but all the leaders and party workers shall understand that only one candidate can be fielded for one seat,'' Mr Kamalnath told reporters here.
The senior leader divulged that the tickets were allotted under the pressure of party office bearers and local party workers.
He expressed optimism that the Congress would wrest power from BJP with a clear majority despite the present turbulence in the party.
''Corruption, atrocities on oppressed classes, failure to attract investment besides growing unemployment will be raised as main issues during elections,'' he reiterated.
