Advani, Rajnath sound the bugle in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Nov 6 (UNI) BJP Prime Ministerial Candidate L K Advani and party President Rajnath Singh today sounded the bugle for the party's run for power for a successive second term in the December 4 Assembly elections in Rajasthan.

The campaign was kicked off at a huge workers' meet -- Vijay Sankalp Mahakumbh -- held here today.

Booth level party activists from all over the state participated in the congregation.

Former party President M Venkaiah Naidu, General Secretary Gopinath Munde, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, BJP Treasurer Ramdas Agrawal and state President Om Prakash Mathur were also present.

The actual hectic electioneering of the ruling party is to begin from November 20 or 21 after the expiry of deadline for withdrawal of nominations, Mr Mathur said.
