Abhishek down with fever, shivering in Kerala, says Amitabh

Mumbai, Nov 6 (UNI) Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan was taken ill in Kerala, where he is shooting for Mani Ratnam's ''Ravan'' along with his wife Aishwarya.

The actor is down with shivering and high fever, a worried Amitabh Bachchan, who is at Udaivilas Hotel in Udaipur, along with wife Jaya, wrote on his blog today.

''My heart and mind are in the jungles of Kerala, where he is shooting,'' the thespian, who is recuperating after his hospitalisation for a week for acute stomach pain on his 66th birthday on October 11, said.

''I am here to recoup and revitalise, keep away from stress and pressures. My daughter-in-law Aishwarya rang me up last night to inform me about Abhishek's health condition. My daughter has called up from Delhi, anxious to know about his condition and my wife is asking me to remain calm,'' he said.

Amitabh said he wanted to be in Kerala, by his son's bedside soon.
