Rs 2.70 cr plan for Naldehra-Kufri-Fagu area
Shimla, Nov 5 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government would be spending Rs 2.70 crore on creation of basic amenities for tourists in Naldehra-Kufri-Fagu area.
Facilities like parking, public conveniences, solid waste management, development of picnic spots, landscaping and sewerage management etc would be created under the programme, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said while addressing a gathering after inaugurating an amusement park at Kufri today.
He said that the state government was encouraging public-private participation in creation of quality tourism infrastructure which could attract more tourists to visit Himachal Pradesh round the year.
"The state government is extending various facilities to the entrepreneurs for creation of quality tourism infrastructure and public participation is being encouraged at all level," he said.
He said that different circuits had been created for implementation of tourism development plan so that concerted efforts were made to facilitate the visits of the tourists.
