Orissa Sampark Kranti Exp to be restored on normal route

Kolkata, Nov 5 (UNI) South Eastern Railway today said it would restore normal train services on the Kharagpur-Bhadrak section from November 9.

The section has been remaining unused for past three months after landslide and flash flood damaged lines.

After reviewing the reconstruction work at the site, the SER has decided to restore the following trains on normal path.

The 2819/2820 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Orissa Sampark Kranti Express will be restored from November 9 and from November 11 from Bhubaneswar and New Delhi repectively.

The 5227/5228 Yesvantpur-Muzaffarapur weekly Exp will run via Howrah-Kharagpur-Tata-Jharsuguda-Bilaspur-Durg-Nagpur-Kazipet-Vijaywada.

The 5629/5630 Chennai-Guwahati Weekly Exp will run via Asansol-Tata-Jharsuguda-Bilaspur-Durg-Nagpur-Kaziper-Vijaywada.

The 6309/6310 Emakulam-Patna Bi-weekly Exp will run via Asansol-Adra-Kharagpur-Tata Jharsuguda-Bilaspur-Durg-Nagpur-Kazipet-Vijaywada.

The 2895/2896 Hwh-Puri Weekly exp and the 2887/2888 Hwh-Puri Weekly exp will remain cancelled until November 30, an SER release said.
