Tirupati, Nov 5 (UNI) Karnataka BJP president Bandaru Dattatreya today condemned the incident in which eggs were thrown at Praja Rajya Party (PRP) president Chiranjeevi during his 'Praja Ankia Yatra' in Warangal district yesterday and said it was neither political culture nor Telangana tradition.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Dattatreya, who was here to welcome BJP Senior Leader L K Advani, said in a democratic system, if any political party had a grievance it should create awareness about it among the people instead of resorting to acts that malign the image of the political parties.
Hailing PRP's fight against Congress and TDP and claiming his party a really secular, he said the BJP would not have alliance with the PRP in coming LS elections.
Stating that favourable situation was prevailing for BJP in the state, he said vote bank politics could be prevented only if BJP came to power.
Referring to the Andhtra Pradesh High Court order restraining the TTD authorities from diverting crores of rupees from TTD for supply of drinking water to Chittoor and other villages, he alleged TTD funds were used for non-religious purposes and demanded the government dismiss the TTD Trust Board and TTD Executive Officer.
