Bhopal, Nov 5 (UNI) Tribal leader Dilip Singh Bhuria, who yesterday re-entered Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ranks after resigning from the Congress, today said he would not contest any poll this year.
''The Congress is no longer a party of common workers but an organisation that catered solely to its leaders. It has no room for Backward Classes and tribals. On the contrary, the BJP is basically a cadre-based party,'' he told reporters here.
Strongly objecting to his being termed a 'turncoat' on account of his successively shifting loyalties from the Congress to the BJP, Gondwana Ganatantra Party, Congress and back to the BJP, Mr Bhuria described himself as a person with a progressive ideology who preferred to walk in tandem with society and the times.
