Bharti Teletech inks pact with Transcend Information

New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) Bharti Teletech, a subsidiary of Bharti Enterprises, today said it has entered into a distribution alliance with a leading global player in the memory accessories business Transcend Information.

Under the agreement, Bharti Teletech will sell and distribute the entire portfolio of Transcend products in the country.

Transcend will be able to leverage Bharti Teletech's extensive retail network of over 36,000 retailers spread across 3,600 towns in the country.

The alliance will place Bharti and Transcend in a strong position to capitalise on the increasing demand for telecom and IT accessories in the domestic market, a company statement said here.

''The partnership with Transcend will enable Bharti Teletech to strengthen its position as the leading distributor of allied telecom and technology products in the country,'' Bharti Teletech Vice Chairman and Managing Director Rakesh Bharti Mittal said.

Set up in 1985, Bharti Teletech is one of the country's leading manufacturers and distributors and allied products.
