AP: TiE global names J A Chowdary to Trustees Board

Hyderabad, Nov 4: TiE Hyderabad President and NVIDIA Graphics India Managing Director J A Chowdary has been elected to serve on the Board of Trustees of the TiE Global for a two-year term, starting Jan 1, 2009. Mr Chowdary has contributed to several reputed organisations in his career spanning over 25 years now.

In his role as Director of STPIs in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad, he has played a key role in the spurt of outsourced software development and the setting up of many an Indian operation of Multinational Companies.

He has also held several key positions in industry circles and made significant contribution to promote the e-governance initiatives for the Government of AP in his role as advisor to IT Task Force, a press release here said.
