Samastha favours stringent measures to contain terror modules
Kozhikode, Nov 4 (UNI) The Samastha Kerala Jamiyath-ul-Ulema (SKJU) today urged the Centre and the Kerala government to take stern and urgent steps to contain growing terrorist activities in the country.
Talking to reporters here, SKJU general secretary Kanthapuram A P Aboobacker Musaliyar said Islamic scholars were always opposed to terror elements as they posed a grave threat to the country's unity. Stringent steps must be taken to put an end to such activities, he added.
In order to create awareness among the youths against growing terrorist and extremist activities, he said his organisation would conduct a series of seminars, dicussions and conventions on the issue beginning with a meeting in the city on November 12.
