CPI opposes Dal Khalsa campaign against migrant labourers
Rupnagar, Nov 4 (UNI) Communist Party of India (CPI) Punjab unit today opposed the campaign launched by Dal Khalsa against the migrant labourers in the state.
While talking to media persons here today CPI Punjab state council secretary Bhupinder Sambar said that regionalism would not do any good for Punjab adding that migrant labourers were playing an important role in the agriculture and industrial sectors of the state in the same manner as was being done by the Punjabis in other parts of the country and in foreign lands.
He said his party would launch a struggle in the state against divisive tendencies, price rise and anti-people economic policies of the government and a concrete programme for this struggle would be chalked out during the meeting of the state executive to be held on November 8 and 9.
