Bangalore: Deadline extended for Young World competition
Bengaluru, Nov 4: Here"s some good news for last-minute entrants to the Young World Painting Competition: the last date to receive entries has been extended to November 15.
This annual competition is back and promises to be bigger and better this year.
Preliminary entries will be screened and students will be intimated individually to attend the finals.
The entries will be at two levels: junior (Classes IV to VII) and senior (Classes VIII to X).
Categories
The final competition is slated to be held on November 30 at St. Joseph"s Boys High School, Vittal Mallya Road, Bangalore-560001. In the junior category, the topics are: Sports Day, Flying Kites, At the Zoo and Birthday Party.
Topics
Topics in the senior category include Watching a Stage Play, At a hill station, Bundh/Strike day and Environment Day.
However, the topics for the finals will be given only at the venue.
Prizes and participation certificates will be distributed the same day.
