Mah: Shivraj Patil expresses worry over growing terrorism

Latur, Nov 3: Expressing worry over a spate in terror attacks across the country, Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil advocated patience in fight against terrorism. ''India has fought many social obstacles in the last 61 years. Now we are suffering from growing terrorism. In such a situation, the youth of the country must fight terrorism with patience,'' said Mr Patil in a function on Sunday, Nov 2.

Addressing the people gathered at the inauguration of an ATM of Latur Urban Co-opperative Bank, Mr Patil praised the bank's administration for its devotion to development of the city. He advised the bank to provide loans to needy people and small industries.

Former state finance minister and MLC Deeliprao Deshmukh, Dr Gopalrao Patil, Maharashtra Congress Commitee's vice president Rajni Patil, Latur Muncipal President Adv Vankat Bedre, Basawraj Patil Nagralkar, Latur dictrict central co-opperative bank's chairman Subhas Deshmukh, former MP Arvind Kamble, Sharad Patil-Nilangekar, former MLA Manikrao Jadhav, Madhavrao Patil and Adv Vikram Hipprkar were also present at the function.
