London, Nov 3 : LA Galaxy fans have branded David Beckham "a waste of Spice" after the ace footballer decided to leave Los Angeles, and move to AC Milan.
LA loyalists are furious that the 128million pounds Goldenballs is heading to the Italian giants, and now a majority of them don't want him to come back.
In their opinion, Beckham doesn't want to be part of the team after it slumped to their worst ever start in Major League Soccer.
While Milan asked for a four-month deal, LA Galaxy insisted that the 33-year-old midfielder must be back for the new season in March.
However, fans are now seething over the so-called betrayal by the football star.
"Don't bother coming back," the Daily Star quoted one of the messages on the team's official website as saying.
Another message read: "Beckham, you're a waste of Spice."
And what looks like, the vehemence might jerk Beckham's financial scene as experts have warned that he risks losing millions if he goes ahead with his decision to move to Italy.
"I can only judge by my emails and the majority say: 'Let him go, it hasn't worked,' said Los Angeles Times football writer Grahame Jones.
He added: "The circumstances of the Milan signing was an embarrassment for Galaxy, and lots of people's attitude is now basically: 'Goodbye and good riddance.'"
