Dhanush Technologies registers high growth

A company release said the turnover increased to Rs 43.5 crore as compared to Rs 31.4 crore during the corresponding Quarter of previous year. The Profit After Tax was Rs 13.2 crore, a 80.8 per cent growth, as against Rs 7.3 crore and the Telecom services vertical registered a growth of 9.2 per cent at Rs 16.1 crore as against Rs 14.8 crore in corresponding quarter of last year. The Fleetrac business had a whopping 3,535 per cent jump to Rs 14.9 crore as compared to Rs 0.4 crore last year. The BPO Unit's turnover went up by 157 per cent to Rs 7.7 crore and the software segment's revenue came down to Rs 4.7 crore from Rs 13.3 crore last year.

The collapse of leading institutions and investment banks accompanied by economic turbulence and recessionary conditions in businesses worldwide during the past couple of months has impacted the software business overseas. ''This trend is likely to continue for a couple of more months till we see stability and recovery in the financial systems and institutions'', the release said.
