Bangalore, Nov 3 (UNI) The clean sweep made by Bharatiya Janata Party was an approval of the people on the 150-day rule of its the government in Karnataka, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa said today.
Reacting to the results he said despite the opposition parties joining together BJP candidates won in a big way. The government would ensure that local bodies and panchayat institutions were strengthened, he said.
Taking a dig at opposition Congress and Janata Dal(S), he said it was time they stopped leveling false allegations and not take the BJP government lightly. "It is time they stop this and start extending cooperation to the BJP government which wanted to ensure good governance," he said.
