BSE Sensex rises to 10,269; Nifty gains 134 pts

Mumbai, Nov 3: The markets are trading sharply higher, as RBIs move of rates cut and positive global cues are playing major role in on Monday, Nov 3 trade. Realty, banking, capital goods, power, oil and metal stocks are on buyers' radar. Midcap and small cap stocks are following the same trend. Leaders for this rally are Reliance Industries, ONGC, SBI, NTPC, DLF, Bharti Airtel, HDFC, L&T and HDFC Bank.
The Sensex rose 481 points to 10,269 and the Nifty gained 134 points at 3,019, at 10.57 am. The BSE Midcap and Small cap indices jumped over 4 pc to 3,335.24 and 3,924.25, respectively. Among the frontliners, Reliance Infrastructure, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, DLF, SBI, Tata Communication and Idea Cellular are up 7-11pc.
