Bhopal, Nov 3 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Revenue Minister Kamal Patel and Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Meena Singh, both Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nominees, were among 32 candidates who submitted their nomination papers on the fourth day for doing so in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh.
A total of about 80 candidates submitted papers thus far. Reports reaching here said that Mr Patel submitted papers in Harda while Ms Singh did likewise at Umaria district's Manpur. Congress state General Secretary Govind Rajput submitted papers at Sagar district's Surkhi.
Other nominees who submitted papers today included Narmada Prasad Prajapati (Cong) -- Narsinghpur district's Gotegaon, Sanjay Sharma (BJP) -- Tendukheda, Nageen Kochar (Janata Dal), Poonam Singh (Gondwana Ganatantra Party) -- both from Gadarwara, Hazarilal Dangi (Bahujan Samaj Party) -- Rajgarh district's Khilchipur, Ram Singh Yadav (Cong -- though he is not the official candidate) -- Rajgarh's Bioara, Rampal Singh Sikarwar (Independent) -- Morena district's Jaora, Shailendra Sharma (Bharatiya Jan Shakti), Rajendra Singh (Lok Janshakti Party) -- both from Sumawli, Malkhan Singh Bajoria (I) -- Morena, Ravindra Singh Tomar (BSP) -- Dimni, Suresh Jatav (Cong) -- Ambah, Gyan Singh (affiliation unclear) -- Umaria district's Bandhavgarh, Mahipal Baiga (Nationalist Congress Party) -- Manpur, Pradeep Lariya (BJP) -- Sagar district's Naryawli, Lakhan Singh Jadaun (I) -- Shajapur district's Shujaalpur, Ombharti (Cong) -- Agar, Saligram Fakichandra (Samajwadi Party) -- Mandsaur district's Malharganj, Bonobi (Bharatiya Alpsankhyak Suraksha Mahasangh) -- Mandsaur, Bhagat Singh (SP), Swami Sant (BJS), Sandeep Kumar (Shiv Sena) -- all from Suwasra and Sardar Singh (BJS) -- Garoth.
November 7 is the last date for submitting papers, scrutiny would take place the following day, November 10 is the last date for withdrawal of candidature and polling is scheduled for November 27.
