Bhopal, Nov 2 (UNI) The Gondwana Mukti Sena (GMS) today announced the names of 125 candidates in their second list for the assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh.
''The GMS will contest 200 seats but with an electoral alliance with the newly floated tribal outfit Adijan Mukti Sena, the party is targeting a total of 230 seats,'' party National Secretary and Spokesman Sohan Lal Sondhia told reporters here today.
Mr Sondhia said the GMS had already released a list of 21 candidates and the names of the rest of the candidates would be released soon.
Alleging that both the Congress and the BJP had neglected the interests of the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and minority community, he claimed that if the party would came to power, it would resolve the problems of SC, ST and the neglected sections of the society.
He said the party expected to win 25 seats in Mahakaushal and Vindhyachal region.
''Three legislators from the Gondwana Gantantra Party have joined the GMS and they will contest from their respective constituencies,'' he added.
