Three ultrasound machines sealed in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, Nov 1 (UNI) Haryana Health Department today sealed an Ultrasound machine at Sriram Memorial Hospital in Sikanderpur of Gurgaon for violation of PNDT Act, the third such machine to be sealed in the district in last two weeks.

A spokesman of the Health Department said that the Ultrasound machine was sealed by a team constituted by Civil Surgeon Dr S S Dalal, as proper record of the patients was not maintained, the radiologist was changed without informing the appropriate authority, referral slips of the patients were missing and the registration certificate displayed at the center was out-dated.

Earlier also, the Health Department team had sealed two ultrasound centers at Rama Hospital and Nursing Home, Khandsa road and Arora laboratories, New Anaj Mandi of Sohna for violating PNDT Act including non maintenance of proper records of the patients. UNI JN JS1804
