Bhubaneswar, Nov 1 (UNI) The railways has decided to extend the special train services between Bhubaneswar and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) Mumbai as well as Puri and Howrah in a bid to handle the rush of tourists from Orissa.
The 0880/0879 Bhubaneswar-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Mumbai-Bhubaneswar weekly Superfast Special Train has been extended to run up to November 24 and November 26 from Bhubaneswar and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus respectively.
The Bhubaneswar-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Bhubaneswar Special train leaves Bhubaneswar at 0720 hours on every Monday and arrives Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on the subsequent day at 1335 hours.
Similarly, in the reverse direction, this train will be leaving Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 0015 hours on Wednesdays (Tuesday midnight) and arriving Bhubaneswar at 0710 hours on the next days.
The special train has stoppages at Cuttack, Talcher Road, Angul, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Raigarh, Champa, Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg, Gondia, Nagpur, Badnera, Akola, Bhusabal, Manmad, Nasik Road, Igatpuri and Kalyan between Bhubaneswar and LTT.
The 0896/0895, 0888/0887, 0810/0809 Puri-Howrah-Puri weekly Special Trains have been extended to run up to November 27 from Puri and up to November 28 from Howrah towards Bhubaneswar.
Puri-Howrah-Puri Special train is leaving Puri at 1000 hours on every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and is arriving Howrah on the next days at 0705 hours.
Similarly, in the reverse direction, this special train will be leaving Howrah at 2055 hours on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and arriving Puri at 0550 hours on the subsequent days.
Special Trains between Puri and Howrah have stoppages at Sakhigopal, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur between Puri and Howrah.
