New Delhi, Nov 1 (UNI) The Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) is fielding as many as fifty three candidates for the forthcoming Assembly election in Rajasthan, of which 30 candidates belong to the SC/ST community and nine to the OBC category.
According to a party release issued here today, the LSP wants to put before the people of the state an ideological alternative to the last five-year of BJP regin of 'chaos and police raj'.
The party alleged that the state today is embroiled in a 'caste war' owing to skillful manipulation of the Raje regime.
''People of the state want change. Industrialisation, agricultural development and employment generation have come to a standstill in the state owing to the heightened social tension,'' the release added.
LSP appealed to all secular, democratic and progressive forces to come together and try to provide a strong and viable alternative.
The party also condemned the serial bomb blasts in Assam which claimed many lives and injured several others.
The LSP has appealed to the people to avoid violence as, it will increase the violence in the state and would bring misery to many people.
