Govt to disburse awards for arrest of extremists, criminals
Patna, Oct 31 (UNI) In order to encourage people's cooperation in maintaining law and order in Bihar, the state government today announced to award those assisting in the arrest of absconding extremists and criminals.
Sources at the state headquarters here said cash prize of Rs 25,000 had been announced on the head of each of the Maoist ultras, namely Anil Das, Ramadhar Das and Jitendra Ravidas, of Korap village under Anti police station in Gaya district.
Besides, cash award of the same amount had also been announced on the head of Pranay Kumar Choudhry of Loma village under Tisiauta police station in Muzaffarpur district. Pranay Kumar Choudhry is the kingpin of an inter-state kidnappers gang and is a hardcore criminal.
The sources said all these miscreants were wanted by the police in connection with several criminal cases since long.
