Bajarang Dal leader released on bail

Mangalore, Nov 1(UNI) A former Bajrang Dal Karnataka-unit Convener Mahendra Kumar was today released from prison on bail in all the cases related to the attacks on places of worship.

Police said Mr Kumar had earlier opted not to be released on bail because of a 'Body Warrant' issued against him by the Chikmagalur Court.

After his release here, Mr Kumar said he would remain in Bajrang Dal and preserve its principles, besides protecting the cause of Hindutva.

He demanded the arrest of the New Life Organisation leader H T Sangliana and authors and publishers of the alleged controversial publication 'Satya Darshini'.
