Nashik, Nov 1 (UNI) The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has detained Lt Col (Retd) Shailesh Raikar, Commandant, Bhonsala Military School here, for investigation regarding the Malegaon blast on September 29.
According to sources, the ATS team detained Lt Col Raikar here last night to probe into his alleged presence in a meeting that took place in the school prior to the blast. The key accused Pragya Singh Thakur and two others Sameer Kulkarni and Ramesh Upadhyay were also said to have been a part of the meeting.
Meanwhile, a clerk of the school was also detained, though ATS sources didn't give any official information regarding this.
