Adityanath sheds fear, says no threat can scare him
Gorakhpur, Nov 1 (UNI) Gorakshpeeth successor and BJP MP Yogi Adityanath today said no threat can scare him or suppress his religious sentiments and the district administration was even free to withdraw its security from the Gorakhnath temple on failing to do that properly.
''The district administration can withdraw its Home Guard sleuths from the Gorakhnath temple as the large number of devotees are capable enough to protect the temple,'' he said here.
''Such threats would neither hamper us nor our pious feelings,'' Mr Adityanath maintained.
The BJP MP further said his mission against terrorism would go on and also his responsibility towards Hinduism would remain the same.
Two days prior, a terror outfit had sent a letter, threatening to blow up the Gorakhnath temple within 24 hours.
The letter, which was received at the temple, also allegedly contained a life threat to Mr Adityanath, stating he had managed to escape in Azamgarh, but this time he would lose his life.
Earlier, on September 7, Mr Adityanath had a narrow escape after some miscreants had attacked his cavalcade when he was heading to address a public meeting over terrorism at DAV college in Azamgarh district.
