Shops closed, as traders call for Lankan Tamils cause
Puducherry, Oct 31 (UNI) All the shops in the town, including markets remained closed following a strike call for a by the Puducherry State All Traders Associations Coordination Committee here today.
The agitation was to condemn the killing of innocent Tamils by the Sri Lankan Army in the Island Nation and also to urge the Centre to find an amicable solution to the ethnic crisis in Sri Lanka.
