New Delhi, Oct 30 (UNI) The Delhi police today registered a case of murder in connection with the death of a woman, who was found dead in her house in Northwest Delhi last evening.
A case was registered by the police under Sections 302 and 498 A of the IPC in the death of a 22-year-old housewife Anju Rani , who was found dead with her throat slit in her home in Nangloi last evening.
The case was registered on the complaint of Anju's father Satyaban Singh, who alleged in his police complaint that his daughter's husband Sanjit and his father Baljeet were behind the murder.
Police said she was married four years ago to Sanjit Singh, a real estate agent who also runs a school.
Sanjit told police that he found his wife's body in the house when he returned from his job. He called his neighbours who then informed police.
