Open Sea swimmining competition on Nov 16

Mumbai, Oct 31 (UNI) As part of the Navy week, an 'Open Sea Swimming Competition' is being organised by the Navy on November 16, at the Indian Naval Watermanship Training Centre (INWTC) at Colaba in south Mumbai.

The event, open to both service and public for eight and above age groups, will involve participants swimming a distance of approximately six kms from the Prongs Reef Buoy to INWTC, according to an official release here today.

The competition will be conducted in six categories men, women and boys (under 16), girls under 16, veterans and special participants.

Entry forms can be downloaded from the website www.indiannavy.gov.in. Last date for receipt of entry forms is November six, the release added.
