Groundnut, oil flat, RBD palm oil falls

Mumbai, Oct 31 (UNI) The prices of groundnutseed and its oil remained flat today on moderate demand by stockists, while RBD palm oil fell on poor offtake, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oilseeds, groundnut remained flat. However, kardiseed declined by Rs 15 per quintal on lower buying support.

Nigerseed and castorseed Bombay also slashed by Rs 46 and Rs 16 per quintal respectively on sustained heavy selling pressure by bulk consumers.

In oils (per 10 kg), cottonseed (refined) and RBD palm oil eased by Rs 5 and Rs 3 per 10 kg respectively on persistent offloading by stock holders, traders said.

All de-oiled cakes remained unaltered today, traders added.
