Chandigarh, Oct 31 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal inaugurated the newly built multi storied complex of Punjab Bhawan at Nanded in Maharashtra yesterday on the occasion of the Guruta Gaddi celebrations.
At the inauguration ceremony prayers were offered by Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib Jathedar, Giani Kulwant Singh.
The entire cost of construction of the Rs 8 crore Bhawan has been borne by the Punjab Government. The land was provided by the Sri Hazur Sahib Gurdwara Board.
The Bhawan with occupancy of 142 rooms would provide boarding and lodging facility to the devotees visiting the holy shrine of Takht Sri Hazur Sahib, a spokesman of he Punjab government here today stated.
