TDP Presidents demands the removal of Panchayat Raj Minister

Hyderabad, Oct 30 (UNI) The Opposition Telugu Desam (TDP )President N Chandrababu Naidu today demanded the state government to remove the State Panchayat Raj Minister J C Diwakar Reddy from the cabinet for taking bribe from land syndicate in East Godavari district.

Mr Babu who reviewed arrangements at the party's polit bureau meeting for the proposed party's Yuva Garjana meeting to be held at Guntur on November 5 also demanded an inqury into the allegations made by Small Scale Industries Minister G Suryarao against the Panchayat Raj minister Diweakar who had taken Rs seven crores as bribe from the sand syndicate.

He said the people should know the facts on allegations made against a cabinet minister by another cabinet minister as it was not an internal party affair.

He said the congress party was in confusion and did not make its stand clear on separate Telangana. The Government was totally involed in corrupiton and lost the faith of the people.

Regarding the newly formed Praja Rajyam Party(PRP) launched by Chiranjeevi, Mr Naidu said the PRP had no cadre and the party was in dilemma on its stand on separate Telangna. He said the TDP had gained the confidence of the people of Telangana after the party announced its pro-Telagnana stand.

He claimed that the TDP would come to power in the next elections and the congress party would be ruined after Yuva Garjana meeting at Guntur.
