Speaker to inaugurate 2nd roundtable on parliamentary democracy

New Delhi, Oct 30 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee will inaugurate the second roundtable discussion on "Strengthening Parliamentary Democracy" here on November one.

According to a Lok Sabha secretariat release issued here today, the event would be attended by eminent parliamentarians, political leaders, legal luminaries, mediapersons, leaders of Civil Society and academicians.

Some of the participants include Vasant Sathe, Planning Commission deputy chairperson Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Shashi Tharoor, Shyam Benegal, J P Narayan, Suhas Borker, Bhaskar Rao, Justice A M Ahmadi, Neelabh Mishra, Narayan Murthi, Aveek Sarkar, Prof S K Brahmchari and Ms Ranjeet Ranjan.
