Chandigarh, Oct 30 (UNI) Haryana Chief Parliamentary Secretary Dharambir Singh today said the prime aim of the state government was to provide facilities in the villages of the state at par with the urban areas.
''Many programmes are being implemented by the state Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda for the all round development of rural areas,'' he said while hearing the grievances of the people at Dadri in Bhiwani district.
Thousands of villagers and representatives of Panchayats were present on the occasion.
He heard the grievances related to water supply, power, roads, canal water, chaupals and health services of the villages Mandaula, Mandauli, Kalali, Balali, Kaliyana, Badal, Asawari, Ramlawas, Chandeni, Jhojhu Kala, Maii Kala and Khurd and gave necessary directions to the concerned officers to take steps to redress them.
He also announced to give grants to several Gram Panchayats for development works in their respective villages.
