First rail accident, youth killed in Kashmir
Srinagar, Oct 30 (UNI) A 20-year-old youth became the first victim when he was crushed under a rail in the Central Kashmir district of Badgam this evening.
Official sources said the passenger train was on way to Badgam station from Anantnag when some youths were crossing a bridge at Machoo on the Srinagar-Charar-e-Sharief road.
A youth was killed after he was overrun by the train.
This is the first train accident since it was flagged off by the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on October 11.
