Tiruchirapalli, Oct 30 (UNI) All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi (AISMK) Founder and popular filmstar Sarathkumar today ruled out the possibilities of forging an alliance with the ruling DMK, AIADMK, and Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) in the coming Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing a press conference here, he, however, said the question of alliance with other parties, including the Congress would be decided at the appropriate time after discussions with the office bearers of the party.

His idea was to form a viable political front excluding the DMK, AIADMK and DMDK, as the people of Tamil Nadu started to feel that there should be some change in the political scenario of the state, he said, adding his party would make all efforts to fulfill the same.

When asked if it was possible, he said in politics every thing was possible.

He was willing to go alone in the coming elections if there was no possibility of forging allaince, he said and added he would be happy to accept the people's verdict.

He would also be happy if ten or more percentage of people voted for his party, Mr Sarathkumar said adding that he would undertake a 100-days tour in all over Tamil Nadu after December 20. The objective was to provide education, employment and empowerment to the people especially for the rural population.

While dismissing the allegations that DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi was enacting a high drama on the Sri Lankan Tamils issue, Mr Saratkumar welcomed the initiatives taken by the Chief Minister in this regard.

Referring to the Tamil Nadu Government's decision of collecting fund and relief materials for the Sri Lankan Tamils, he asked why the government did not support Tamilar Desiya Iyakkam Preident P Nedumaran's similar effort a couple of years back.

He said the distribution of relief materials should be channelised to ensure that it reach the needy Sri Lankan Tamils in the island nation.

He said the Marumalarchi DMK (MDMK) General Secretary Vaiko, who was arrested under sedition charges, should be released immediately.
