Sources said after proper checking, 17 trucks carrying fresh fruits, mostly apple, dry fruit and other articles, left Salamabad at 1430 hrs yesterday to cross over the other side of the border.

The trucks crossed the bridge '' Aman Setu'' to reach Chakoti where they were off loaded for onward transportation to different parts of the PoK.

Similarly, seven trucks from PoK, carrying bananas, pomegranates, dry fruit, onion and other articles crossed over to this side in the afternoon, they said.
