Two kidnapped girls from Kalyani rescued, Seven member gang arrested
Bangalore, Oct 28 (UNI) Police have rescued two kidnapped girls of Kalyani, West Bengal and busted an organised gang of who were involved in several cases of robbery and looting Techies and Realtors ustilising girls in the city, The police also seized Rs three lakh worth of valuebles including jewellery and lethal weapons from the arrested six-member gang including two women, along with the rescued two girls allegedly kidnapped from Kalyani area in Kolkata.
Speaking to newspersons City Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari said that the modus operandi of the gang, which included two women, was to lure rich techies and realtors to remote places and were being looted by the waiting gang.
The victims who were lured by the women members of the gang were taken to isolated place and the waiting gang used to attack them with lethal weapons and releived off from their valuebles including jewels, mobiles and other valuables.
The arrested included Parvathi alias Pinki hailed from Kasnapur village, Kollani Police, Thana Kolkata, Fyroj, Sidique, Nafisabanu, Md Nayaz, Suhel and Thanveer (all Bangalore).
The parents of the rescued girls Deena (14) abd Thumba (16) who were kidnapped from Kalyani area in Kolkata by the gang to utilise them in their crime, have been informed and they are coming to take them back Mr Bidari said.
