Goa to host 54th National School Games in Football and Taekwondo

Panaji, Oct 28 (UNI) About 2,000 boys and girls, including officials, from different states and union territories are expected to participate in the six day 54th National School Games' Football and Taekwondo events, to be held at Nehru stadium Fatorda at Margao in South Goa from November one-six.

Competitions will be conducted for both boys and girls u-17 in football and U-14, U-17 and U-19 in taekwondo.

The event is organised by Directorate of sports and youth (DSYA) Affairs under the aegis of the school Games Federation of India.

The Inaugural Ceremony will be held on November one.

Chief Minister Digamber Kamat will be the chief guest for the closing ceremony on November six.
