137 people exchange sides on LoC at Poonch

Jammu, Oct 28: At least 137 civilians exchanged sides on Line of Control (LoC) at Chakkan-Da-Bagh in weekly Poonch-Rawlakot bus service, official spokesman on Tuesday, Oct 28 said.

Of total 61 civilians, who crossed over to Pakistan- occupied- Kashmir (PoK) from Poonch yesterday, 36 were fresh visitors to PoK while 25 were PoK residents who returned after meeting their relatives in this side of the state.

From PoK, 76 people came to this side, which included 41 fresh visitors and 35 J &K residents who had been to the other side of LoC to meet their relatives, the spokesman said.
