TDP alleges crores worth scam in coastal corridor
Hyderabad, Oct 27 (UNI) Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu today alleged a Rs one lakh crore scam in the proposed Coastal Corridor Project.
Addressing a press conference here, he alleged the government proposed to acquire 1.5 lakh acre of land for the purpose and had issued the Government Order (GO) in this regard.
He claimed the government had already acquired 51,500 acre of land for the coastal corridor from Thada in Nellore District to Ichapuram in Srikakulam District.
He claimed the party had proof to support its claim and was ready to prove the allegations if the government ordered a judicial inquiry into matter.
He alleged the government had acquired 10,500 acre for the Kakinada Special Economic Zone and gave it to a private party instead of the ONGC.
