Three held near International border in Jammu

Jammu, Oct 27: The troops of Border Security Force (BSF) arrested a Pakistani national and two Bangladeshis from Indo-Pak International Border in Kanhachak sub-sector and Ramgarh sector of Jammu region, sources here said.

''Pak national identified as Dilawar (25), was apprehended by the troops of 141 Bn BSF from Garuda Post in Kanhachak Sector when he infiltrated, into the Indian Territory late last night,'' official sources told UNI and added that Rs 35 Pak currency was also recovered from his possession.

Meanwhile, two Bangladeshi nationals were arrested from Rangoon Camp and from S M Pura areas in Ramgarh Sector of Samba district.

''One of the Bangladeshi infiltrators identified as Azad Ali, was arrested by the 157 Territorial Army (TA) at the Rangoon Camp in Ramgarh Sector yesterday,'' sources said adding that Rs 5 (Indian Currency) was recovered from his possession.

However, another Bangladeshi national identified as Irshad Ali was nabbed by the troops of 91 Bn BSF when he was trying to cross over to Pakistan from the S M Pura area in Ramgarh sector last evening.

Both the Bangladeshi nationals have been handed over to the police while cases have been registered against them.
