Kathmandu, Oct 26 (UNI) Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala today said the Maoist-led government will tumble due to its own incompetence.
''This government could not do anything for the people. That's why it will break down soon,'' Kantipur quoted Mr Koirala as saying while speaking at a programme in eastern Nepal.
Similar statement was made by a senior leader of the UML, a coalition partner, and former deputy prime minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari.
Reiterating that the NC was not trying to pull down the government, he added that its ''longevity'' will end soon due to its own activities.
He accused the Maoists of breaching the democratic values. He added that although he tried to teach the Maoists about politics of consensus, they neglected.
Interacting with the flood victims, the former Prime Minister said the government has not arranged proper relief, compensation and rehabilitation for them.
