10 injured in stone throwing incident in Jodhpur

Jodhpur, Oct 26 (UNI) Around 10 people sustained injuries in a clash between groups of two communities in Hasan area in the city this afternoon, Superintendent of Police Giriraj Meena said.

The tiff over some personal affair between two people took an ugly turn when the people from both the communities joined in and resorted to stone pelting, Mr Meena said.

Later, the police intervened and dispersed the warring groups.

The situation was now peaceful, however, additional police force has been deployed in the area as a precautionary measure, he added.
