VHP office attacked in Nashik
Nashik, Oct 25 (UNI) Activists of student wing of NCP today attacked the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal office here in protest of the alleged involvement of these two Hindu radical outfits in the Malegaon bomb blast on September 29.
According to sources, about 30-40 activists of the NCP, with covered faces, attacked the office which is situated in Ashok Stambh area of the city.
They not only blackened the board bearing the name of the organisation but also the face of a tribal student Khanderao Darode.
They also allegedly manhandled him. They also broke black ink bottles in the office.
Police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
No arrest has been made so far, as the activists escaped from the area after the attack.
Meanwhile, BJP and VHP activists have demanded immediate action against the culprits.
