Shivraj Patil pays obeisance at Kurukshetra pilgrim centres
Kurukashetra, Oct 25 (UNI) Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil today visited various pilgrim centres in this holy town and paid obeisance.
He offered the sacred coconut at the famous Brahmasarovar and also visited the Jyotisar tirtha.
Mr Patil performed worship at the Bhadrakali temple on the outskirts of the town.
The Home Minister visited the Shri Krishna museum which has spectacular displays of Lord Krishna's life and teachings.
Mr Patil also paid a visit to the Panorama Science museum and expressed hope that it would help inculcate a scientific temperament among the visitors, specially students.
He was accompanied by Haryana agiriculture minister H S Chatha and local MP Naveen Jindal.
