Raman files nomination from Rajnandgaon seat
Rajnandgaon, CG, Oct 25 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh today filed his nomination papers from Rajnandgaon assembly seat.
Dr Singh reached here along with party election incharge and former Union minister Ravishankar Prasad and other party workers and filed his nomination.
Five other candidates -- Jamuna Devi Thakur, Ramji Bharti, Kheduram, Darbar Singh Mandawi and Komal Janghel -- also filed their nominations from other assembly seats in the district.
The Chief Minister told reporters that Rajnandgaon parliamentary constituency has been his political area from where people had made him parliamentarian, union minister and Chief Minister.
He had decided to contest from this seat again due to love of people and his party workers from here.
