Vijayawada, Oct 25 (UNI) Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N T Rama Rao's grandson and film actor Nandamuri Kalyana Ram today said their family would strive hard to bring Telugu Desam Party (TDP) back to power in the ensuing assembly elections.
Speaking at a ''roadshow meeting'' at Ramayarapaddu, he said there were no differences of opinion in the Nandamuri clan and they would ''fight till the end'' to re-establish 'Rama Rajyam' in the state.
Claiming victory for the TDP in the next election, he said party President N Chandrababuy Naidu would be the next Chief Minister of the state.
The 'Yuva Garjana' to be held at Guntur on November 5 would pave way for NTR's actor son Balakrishna to plunge into politics, he said.
Earlier, speaking to newspersons here, he ruled out the possibility of Mr Balakrishna becoming the Chief Minister if TDP wins the next elections as being speculated in a section of the media.
Asked about his differences with Junion NTR, another grandson of late NTR, who had reportedly said he would not participate in the 'Yuva Garjana' as he was busy with film shootings, Mr Kalyan Ram said ''every one in the NTR family was united and there were no differences.'' He said Junior NTR and Rama Rao's grand son Taraka Ratna would attend the ''Yuva Garjana'' and added the Nandamuri family members have resolved to strengthen the TDP and thus pay tributes to their late grandfather NTR.
