Naidu denies RSS role in fanning terrorism
Bhopal, Oct 25 (UNI) BJP Vice President M Vekaiah Naidu today categorically denied involvement of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh in the Malegaon blast for which three suspects, including a Hindu sadhvi, were arrested by the Maharashtra police's Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) yesterday.
''RSS does not believe in any sort of violent activities. There is no question of the RSS's link with the blast. Everything will be cleared after the probe into the incident is over'', the BJP leader told reporters here.
Without mentioning any name, Mr Naidu said, parties in a bid to coverup its own mistakes were making baseless allegations against Hindu organisations.
Pointing out that the BJP and other Hindu outfits' name were dragged into the blast, which claimed six lives and injured about 30 others, Mr Naidu said ''We are least bothered about the allegations. An impartial probe will reveal who are responsible for the blast.'' Pragya Singh Thakur, alias Sadhvi Purna Chetanand Giri, an activist of Hindu Jagaran Manch, along with two others were arrested by the Maharashtra ATS yesterday for their alleged involvement in the blast.
